• Refúgio Blue Bird is an ecological accommodation in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, surrounded by the sea, located within an environmental park in the municipality of Bombinhas. • It is a preservation area with numerous fantastic natural landscapes, beautiful forest trails, deserted beaches, waterfalls, sunset in the bay, as well as a very rich terrestrial and aquatic fauna and flora. • It is about 10 km from the center of Bombinhas, with the last 3 km being a dirt road. The space ▪︎The accommodation is surrounded by forest and is located in the highest part of the Hill, with no close neighbors. The house has a unique view of the sea and the forest, and is almost entirely made of glass walls, which allow contact with nature in an even more direct and realistic way. However, there are also curtains that ensure your privacy and comfort when necessary. ▪︎A large wooden deck surrounds the house with the forest around it, making it wider and more cozy, allowing proximity to birds and other animals that inhabit the Refuge, and can also be used to have a coffee, lunch or a rest outside. ▪︎Our mascot is the Blue Jay, and she will probably welcome you. Treat her with affection, feed her only fruit, and avoid sudden movements and excessive noise. They are tame, but they are wild animals, so we ask for respect for them and the other animals that live here. Connect and feel the incredible magic that surrounds the paradisiacal Blue Bird Refuge. ●We have a project aimed at the care and preservation of the birds of the Refuge, called "ADOPT A FREE BIRD," in which you donate food (fruits or grains) or money that will be reverted to it, and you will have adopted a bird that will remain free in nature, but will be fed and cared for by us at Blue Bird. ▪︎The house consists of 2 bedrooms, one is a suite and the other a bedroom with two single beds and an extra bed underneath, with the option of joining them and turning it into a double bed, both with a view of the sunset, with movable fan and mosquito net. Full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishes (glass and plastic) and basic equipment (blender, cutlery, spatulas, pots, frying pan, ceramic bowls, cups, mugs, glasses and goblets), with sofa, table for 4 people overlooking the sea and lounge chairs. Full bathroom in the common area. Covered garage for 1 car and uncovered for up to 3, with an outdoor shower for showering and a laundry area with a hand-operated washing sink. ▪︎We have a beautiful orchard full of native fruits and also an organic garden of our own cultivation with some foods, herbs and vegetables available, just talk to the host. ▪︎It has a large garden with several grassy stretches perfect for good rest, meditation etc., being a very quiet and peaceful area without a flow of people, with the nearest neighbor 300 meters away. ▪︎It is about 10 km from the center of Bombinhas, 3 km from Canto Grande and 400 m from Tainha Beach. We have access through the property by trail to a small deserted beach and also to other contemplation trails. ▪︎ Because we are located in an environmental preservation area, we ask for special care with some items: ▪︎ Avoid loud noises (very harmful to the natural life of native species) ▪︎ Be aware of water use, as our water is 100% rainwater harvesting and we have a limited reservoir of 10,000 liters. ▪︎ Always be aware of insects in general and other venomous animals that may end up entering the house if the doors are open. Because we are in the middle of the woods, this can happen, so we recommend that you keep the doors and windows closed when you are not present, so that you do not find outside animals inside the house. ▪︎ Be very careful with pets!!! Small and medium-sized pets are allowed, however, it is the guest's full responsibility to clean internal and external waste and care for the house's furniture. We also ask that you do not let them loose in the outdoor area, always accompanied and wearing a leash, due to the fact that several species of ground birds and other wild animals live here, which naturally feel threatened by any kind of pet, so we kindly ask you to take such care.
