Experience the beauty of rural life, explore the land, and see where your food comes from—straight from the farm to your plate. 🏡 Cozy Country Comfort Our tiny home includes: Gas cooktops, Air-conditioning, Gas-heated hot water shower The space What you can do: Hands-On Farming: Dive into the joy of harvesting your own vegetables, picking produce straight from the source. Fruit Picking: Surrounded by Fig trees and Apple trees, harvest and indulge in seasonal treats from nature. (summer/autumn only) Depending on the harvesting season, you can pick strawberries, raspberries, cherry tomatoes, apples, figs, blueberries, beans, corn, carrot, potato, and other different greens at different time of the year. Fire Pit & BBQ (Not available during NSW fireban and unsuitable weathers): Enjoy a warm fire pit if the weather condition permits ( please consult us before starting a fire to check the wind condition). BYO BBQ tools. Yass Valley Views: Enjoy the panoramic view as you trek your way up towards the top of the farm. Simply follow the fence line, behind the tiny home, and journey upwards to enjoy the views. Guest access The farm is a 7-minute drive from Yass town and a 45-minute drive from Canberra. You can park in the parking area, or you can choose to pack near the tiny home. This is a working farm, so the road are sufficient for various type of vehicles. Feel free to roam around the Farm, observe the planting and harvest process, and visit the nursery greenhouse for seedlings. We have different farm activities depending on the seasons. Other things to note 🔥 Firewood Provided We provide some firewood to get your fire started—great for marshmallows or enjoying the night sky. Need more? We’re happy to supply extra for a small fee. You're also welcome to bring your own. Brrr! It Gets Chilly Here ❄️ Just a little heads-up — winter mornings can get extra frosty (we saw -4°C on June 21st!). Sometimes the pipes decide to freeze up for a bit in the early morning chill. If that happens, don’t stress — just message me and John (our friendly farm legend 🧑‍🌾) will come over to help get things flowing again. A Note About the Fridge 🧀🍓 You'll find some goodies waiting for you in the fridge — all pre-packed treats we’ve popped in as a complimentary welcome. These aren’t leftovers from past guests (promise!). Feel free to take whatever you need and enjoy! Water, Water Everywhere 💧 Our little farm stay runs on beautiful rainwater and bore water — just part of the off-grid experience! We’ll provide drinking water for you, but feel free to bring extra water or your own drinks if you’d like to be extra prepared. And yes, the tiny home has a standard flushing toilet — no composting loo surprises here! Summer Visitors 🐜 Being on a farm, you might meet a few buzzy or crawly guests in summer.
