Let's keep the peace, folks, it's a bug's life too! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Important Information if You’re Bringing a Dog: Please be aware that we’re currently testing whether or not to allow dogs in our property. 🐾 So, here’s the deal if you’re bringing a dog, a : 1. Dogs are not allowed on the bed or the sofa. 2. Please bring your own dog bed, towel and food/water bowls. 3. Before you check out, kindly remove any dog hair from the curtains (I have to mention this because our cleaning lady once threatened to quit over the extra work this caused). 4. Pets must not be left alone in the apartment. 5. Our large meadow, which borders our farmhouse, is the perfect spot to take your dog out for a potty break. Since points 1–5 are your responsibility, there are no 'high' fees involved. I really don’t want to change the listing to “no dogs allowed”, as that would unfairly discriminate against well-behaved dogs. So let’s keep it simple and stick to these rules. ———————— ❥ This enchantingly furnished guest apartment is located directly at the most beautiful destination in Styria, not far from the Hochschwab mountains. What Upper Styria has to offer: There are countless routes for hikers, ski tourers and snowshoe hikers all around. Tobogganing, skiing on the ski slope or ice diving as well as ice bathing at the nearby lakes are popular here. ———————— Guest access Guests are welcome to make use of the garden and the outdoor seating area. Other things to note This apartment features an exquisitely designed kitchen with a balcony door, making it the ideal choice for travel groups of up to 8 individuals. Spanning the entire second floor of our farmhouse, this accommodation boasts a private entrance accessed via an exterior staircase, offering picturesque views of both the farm and the surrounding landscape. It's excellently suited for hiking parties, skiing groups, climbers, those seeking aquatic leisure (swimming or ice diving), winter explorers, or for corporate outings and events. ———————— Arriving from Vienna or Graz Airport: There are taxis or Uber, but the cheapest option would be to hire a vehicle through CARjet, which is available at the airport, with insurance, etc. at favorable conditions. ———————— Formula 1 Spielberg & MotoGP Grand Prix in Austria: Please book one of my accommodations in good time so that your stay will be wonderful. After the event there is the possibility to use our lakes. There is also a nice bistro there during the bathing season, which welcomes guests in the evening.
