Welcome to our peaceful and happy house surrounded by fields . The interior is homely and well suited for a young family or guests looking to explore the local countryside. At the end of our plot you will find the Västerdala river, and our local lake Perjostjärn is just a 5min walk and offers a sandy beach perfect for young kids. The space The house is located on the western side of Västerdalälven, 2 km from highway 66. It provides easy access to fishing in the river which offers very good harr fishing. Perjostjärn offers trout fishing. For those who want a little more adventure, Kläppen Ski Resort (30min) and SkiStar Sälen (50 min) offer suitable activities such as high altitude track, zipline, summer skiing, mountain biking etc. Nearby is also a riding school (Malung-Sälens Islands horses) that offers hiking in the local forests. These forests are also ideal for hiking and cycling. The property is located on 11000m2 plot, 100m from a smaller road giving you a quiet and private stay. On the east side of our property is a local farmhouse with cattle. If you sneak along the river which is 150 meters away from the house, you can be lucky enough to see beavers. The outdoor space offers a veranda under roof complete with barbecue, table and chairs and a lounge area. In the large garden there is a large lawn, perfect for a picnic on a blanket under the willow tree. We have 3 outbuildings/barns that tell a story about the farm from the late 18th century. The constellation of the buildings poses a charming courtyard feel with the ability to park 2 cars under the roof. All three are in different stages of renovation and therefore offer no other amenities yet. Inside the house you find a happy, homely and modern decor. Every room has been renovated with an eclectic mix of new and old solutions. When you enter the house there is a hall with a large clothing and shoe rack. In this hall there is the bathroom with combined bath/shower. In the open plan downstairs, a kitchen/dining room is separated by a kitchen counter. Both rooms are fully equipped with everything you may need, along with a side-by-side fridge & freezer. At the dining area there is also a changing table for those with small children. This room leads into the living room with a very comfortable and spacious sofa and a cabinet full of children's games and activities. We have no national TV but on the other hand there is a laptop connected via HDMI, and gives access to SVT play as well as HBO and Disney (from our account). Of course, there is the possibility to log in to your own streaming services. From the living room, there is a glass door leading out to the porch. Upstairs there is a smaller hall that has a desk and a chair overlooking the courtyard. Even access to a balcony. Upstairs, there are two big bedrooms. Bedroom one has a large open floor plan with closet, queen size bed (160cm) looks out through a large window. When you wake up, you will see and hear little birds playing in the large willow tree in the garden just outside the window. The other bedroom is the largest and is perfect for children. The 120 cm double bed is built into the cat wind space, which is experienced as a hut. On the other side of the room, there is another cat loft that has been transformed into a circus-themed hut with a 105 cm bed and curtains that can be closed off the section. Has a 105 cm bed. In the main part of the room, there is a sofa bed of 140 cm if needed. In this room you will find more children's toys and books to entertain the little ones. The house has a big basement level. In this area you have a laundry room equipped with washer, dryer and clothes rack. There is also an extra shower in this room. In this room you will also find cleaning products, an iron/board and other useful household items. In addition, there is another level down to a "earth source" which when kept closed keeps constant 9 degrees Celsius even during the hottest summer days. Here you can store any drinks or food that can't fit in the fridge upstairs.
