House in Diamantina - On Vesperata Street

Colonial house, in the heart of historic downtown Diamantina. Located in front of the majestic church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, less than 100 meters from the house of Xica da Silva and less than 200 meters from Rua da Quitanda, where the vesperatas take place. (RUA DO CARMO NO. 158). The house is quite spacious, with 3 comfortable bedrooms, a large living room and kitchen, furnished and equipped. There are two bathrooms: a very large one, with access through the main hallway of the house, and a smaller one, attached to bedroom 3. The space One side of the house is in front of the building where a sacred museum will operate (under renovation). This mansion was the former home of the contractor João Fernandes, the lover of Xica da Silva. There is a common hall at the main entrance to the main house and the apartment next door. However, they are independent entrances with complete privacy. In front of Xica da Silva's house there is an Urban Park open to tourists. It is possible to have contact with the local nature, traveling a path full of centuries-old trees. (automatic gate) The house has a backyard, where smoking is allowed. If the guest prefers to use the garage entrance as the main entrance, this is possible. Just ask our manager for directions.
