Our peaceful and lovely lakefront ADU apartment is 20 minutes away from SeaTac airport or 30 minutes from Seattle by car. It's the perfect location for your favorite tourist attractions or nature activities, as well as an easy drive to ski resorts. It includes a bedroom (queen bed), bathroom, living room, full kitchen, dining area, laundry, high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated desk, great for remote work. You also have full access to the backyard and dock to enjoy water activities and the fresh air. The space Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the lakefront patio, partake in water activities from our dock, and watch the sunset over Lake Desire at our beautiful and peaceful home. Your peaceful and lovely vacation spot is an ADU suite/apartment, attached to our home but with its own entrance and lock. There's a full kitchen and living area, in addition to a separate bedroom with a dedicated workspace. We love living here and watching the mist travel over the lake in the mornings. This is the perfect location to try out fishing or kayaking, relax on the water, and enjoy the fresh air. You might even see deer sometime! Lake Desire is a serene and gorgeous lake in the Maple Heights-Lake Desire community. It's a quick drive to visit all of your favorite tourist attractions (Pike Place, Space Needle, Gas Works Park, Fremont Troll, etc.) but you can also hole up in our cozy, bright apartment for some quiet, tranquil time amidst the trees and away from crowds. If you love skiing or snow activities, we're a quick 45 minutes away from Snoqualmie, or less than 2 hours from Crystal Mountain and Stevens Pass. Grocery stores (Safeway) and restaurants are also a quick drive away, less than 10 minutes. The suite/apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and dining area. There's high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated desk, perfect for remote work. Parking is included. Bedroom includes a queen-sized bed with a very comfortable mattress and fresh sheets, a mirrored closet with hangers and shelves, steam iron and ironing board, portable heater and fan, and a dedicated workspace. Bathroom includes basic toiletries (shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand soap), hair dryer and hair curling iron, and towels. Washer and dryer are located in the bathroom, plus free laundry detergent. Kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, hot water kettle, and dishwasher. There are basic silverware and plates, glassware, coffee grounds and teas. Living room includes a beautiful lakeside view from the sofa, and nearby dining table and chairs. There is plenty of natural light and gorgeous scenery. There’s also a 43” 4K LED smart TV (compatible with Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, and all other streaming apps) for your viewing pleasure. As far as the outdoors, you can step outside to the ground-floor patio or down to the dock to enjoy the lake. Water equipment is not provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Feel free to take advantage of our private dock for water activities and recreation (paddleboards, kayaks, fishing, etc). There’s also a public boat launch less than a minute drive away (8-minute walk). Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment, the ground-floor deck, backyard, and dock. Guests must be able to walk down steps/stairs to access the apartment (and dock). Other things to note No smoking, no pets.
