Off-Grid Tiny House with lovely views, just over an hour from Melbourne CBD. Perched on our farm, minutes from Kyneton, overlooking the Campaspe River. With views of Mount Macedon, Bald Hill, birds on the dam, grazing cows and the occasional kangaroo, this cozy retreat offers an escape for two, providing the perfect blend of comfort and off-grid living. Whilst comfortable and cozy this accommodation is off-grid and is for guests who enjoy sustainability, nature and the great outdoors! The space The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, with quality linens, ensuring a peaceful night's rest. The bathroom is compact yet equipped with all the essentials, and the small kitchenette allows for preparing meals. An outdoor gas BBQ is available. Two people can stay at a time, ensuring an exclusive and undisturbed experience. It's a chance to escape the hustle, unwind, enjoy a golden sunset, smell the country air, watch the clouds roll by, star gaze, rest and rejuvenate. The tiny house relies solely on solar power and rainwater, offering a unique experience in sustainable living. It is built from recycled refrigeration containers and is designed to be an eco stay. Despite the seclusion, you're merely a 9-minute drive from Kyneton and a quick 4-minutes to Malmsbury. Additionally, you are only a short 30-minute drive from the spa country in Daylesford. Guest access The driveway leads past our house and shedding and to a dedicated car park. Permaculture gardens either side of the car park contain herbs, berries, rhubarb and fruit trees. Feel free to help yourself to some fresh herbs, fruit or berries (seasonal) . Please note this parking area is not covered. From the car park, a short walk leads you to the tiny house. The walk takes you through a paddock. We live on the farm, in a house within proximity to the tiny house. The tiny house is lovely and private but during your stay you may see us going about our daily activities. Whether we're tending to the garden, feeding the chickens or working in the paddock. We can be contacted when needed and will be happy to pop over if you need us, but prefer to give guests as much privacy as possible. Other things to note In the spirit of simplicity, please note that the tiny house has no TV or Wi-Fi. This is a chance to disconnect, get back to basics. If staying connected is important, feel free to bring your own iPad or devices—charging is available. We poured our time and love into creating a comfortable off-grid farm stay with luxurious bedding, hot water, and heating, it's important to note that this isn't a conventional 5-star hotel experience. Staying here is an immersion into nature, and as such, you may encounter the unpredictable charm of weather, farm animals or wildlife, it’s all part of experience. We want your expectations to align with the unique experience we offer. If you're someone who finds joy in nature and can survive without a TV and hairdryer then this is the perfect place for you. The property is off-grid and relies solely upon solar power. While our tiny house provides many comforts such as; induction cooktop, toaster, a ducted desiel heater, air conditioning and running hot water, we kindly ask our guests to be mindful of power and water usage. This is an eco experience. We encourage conservation practices to ensure a sustainable and enjoyable experience for all. For example, please avoid cooking on the induction cooktop on the highest settings, or using water unnecessarily, only use the air-conditioning during sunny daylight hours. We do try and supply produce from our farm to our guests where possible but please note that this is seasonal and is dependent on what is available. Please note that the outdoor fire cannot be used when fire restrictions are in force.
