Relax with friends and family at this quiet, peaceful cabin in the woods, sitting at the end of a long private driveway. Great location for hikers and sightseers, as well as those seeking peace and quiet. Located less than an hour drive to Wolf Gap Recreation Area and Big Schloss trailhead, an hour and a half to Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods or Blackwater Falls State Park, and 45 minutes to Lost River State Park. Watch the sunrise from the deck, star gaze on clear nights, or sit around the campfire. The space The cabin is located on 6 acres of woodland on a dead end road. It was built in 2011, and is very secluded and private. The entire North River Wilderness development is located adjacent to Short Mountain WMA. We have a large outdoor deck and covered porch overlooking the North River Valley and North Mountain. Guest access Cabin and 6 wooded acres, excluding 2 owner closets and 1 kitchen cabinet. Our property includes woods to the (facing) left of the cabin, down to the sometimes dry creek, and about 300' in front, down the hill, and out to the road. There are the remains of an old logging road a bit downhill from the shed. There is also a neighborhood access trail at the corner of Rolling Ridge and Rendezvous Roads, marked with a small orange sign. Other things to note We do allow one dog, 100 lbs or less, spayed or neutered. If you plan to leave your dog alone, it must be kept in a kennel. There is a one time pet fee of $50. No cats please.
