Nestled in its own 15-acre grounds between the breath-taking Snowdonia/Eryri mountains and the sea, our holiday let offers stunning views and the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside. But don't be fooled by its peaceful setting - we are conveniently located just a short drive away from popular destinations, such as the Italianate village of Portmeirion, Harlech and Criccieth Castle and the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway. For the more adventurous guests there is access to many of the Snowdon paths, The Zip Wire and Underground adventures in the former LLechwedd Slate quarry, all ensuring that there is never a dull moment during your stay. Historic Wern Manor & Cottages Guest access 5 ensuite bedrooms in the old servants wing, a children's room with pull out beds for 4 in the servants hall. All accommodation in the manor is on one level. The magnificent front door opens into a porch with an impressive mosaic floor from where you go through into the rest of the house. Oak paneled entrance hall- with wood burner, a space to just stop and take your bearings. Games Room: a huge space with a large 65 inch smart TV with HDMI/USB inputs, restored cinema seating, table tennis, children's pool table and log burner. This space could also be cleared to provide a function room/ formal dining room on request. Sitting Room: another large space with leather sofas around the wood burner, and a snooker table. Kitchen: Huge and very well equipped kitchen with a Rangemaster professional cooker with 2 ovens, a separate grill and 5 ring induction hob, 2 dishwashers, microwave, large fridge/freezer . Dining Room: adjoining the kitchen with a large table to comfortably sit 20/22 guests and a breakfast bar with 6-slice toaster, tea- and coffee-making facilities Bedroom 1: the Butler's Pantry, with the original parquet flooring and panelling, original fireplace (not in use), Super king size bed (can be converted into two twins on request), and smart, modern en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2: the Housekeeper's room, with the original parquet flooring and panelling, Super king sized bed or twin (on request), and a modern en-suite shower room. The Snug/Bedroom 3: the former servants hall now has pull out sofa beds for 4 children and a TV. This room can be used either as a smaller TV room or as a great separate space for children to sleep. The Atrium: is another communal area consisting of a glazed courtyard with sofa seating, a table and chairs. Surrounding the Atrium are a further three bedrooms. Bedroom 4: the Larder, with a super King sized bed or twin bed (on request) and modern en-suite shower room. This room has a small private living room which could accommodate a cot. Bedroom 5: the Brushing Rooms, with a double bed and modern en-suite shower room and entrance room (this room is large enough for a cot). The Butler's House provides a further two bedrooms ( a double and a twin) and a bathroom and has its own kitchen and living room. Other things to note Home truths: there is a pond and a shallow stream in the grounds so young guests will need to be supervised when playing.
