Mountain Top Cottage

Right on Griffiths Lookout at the top of the Dorrigo Mountain, this delightful 2 bedroom, fully self-contained cottage offers a peaceful place to relax and unwind . The cottage is spacious and comfortable with everything you could need including a scrumptious choice of breakfast, a large deck with Weber barbeque, a wood burning fireplace and a well equipped kitchen with basic pantry items. Set in amongst stunning native gardens, the bird life is abundant with native birds. Sorry no kids, no pets The space Mountain Top Cottage offers a comfortable space for a relaxing and peaceful stay. A fully equipped kitchen with pantry basics and outside dining, plus barbecue makes cooking your meals a pleasure. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and all linen and towels supplied are of a luxurious quality. The surrounding gardens play host to a multitude of native birds which can be seen from the windows and veranda of the cottage. The cottage is set in the gardens of our home, so we are close by if you need anything, but you are completely private from our home and surrounded by lush native gardens. The lookout is a short (2 minute) stroll where you can watch the breathtaking sunrise, with a cuppa or the magnificent sunset, with a wine. A short drive and you can visit the World Heritage Dorrigo National Park which offers some beautiful walks, the spectacular Dangar Falls or the historic township of Dorrigo. Further afield there is ancient stands of massive trees, river swimming and bush walking. A nature lovers paradise. Guest access Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for children under 12 and we have a "No Pets" policy due to being a bird sanctuary Other things to note As this is a bird sanctuary , we often have birds nesting and breeding throughout the gardens. You can watch them feeding on the native flowers and playing in the birdbath below your veranda. To date we have listed 54 different species of native birds in the garden, many which nest and raise young ones in the breeding season. Registration Details Exempt
