Beautifully renovated home blending 1940’s charm with thoughtfully curated, modern finishes located just steps from downtown Walkerton. Whether you are in town for work, a quiet stay or a family event, the home is designed to be comfortable, practical and easy to settle into. Features include a fully equipped kitchen, fast reliable Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace, garage parking for one, professional snow removal services and onsite laundry. The space Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, closet and dresser, window seat and ceiling fan. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, closet and dresser, 40 inch TV with Chromecast that includes Netflix and a DVD player with some DVD’s. This is the largest of the bedrooms and would be great for the kids. Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed, large armoire dresser and space to hang clothing and features blackout blinds. The closet in this bedroom is locked. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with coffee, tea, creamers, sugar, cooking oils, spices, and baking essentials. Guests are welcome to help themselves to anything in the pantry. Laundry is located in the unfinished but clean basement. Office/Piano Room doors can be shut if a quiet space is required. Feel free to use my piano but please treat it kindly, it has been in my family for generations. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and property excluding 2 rooms in the basement and 1 locked bedroom closet upstairs Other things to note Please note: The nightly rate includes up to 2 guests. A fee of $25 per additional guest, per night applies. This helps keep the home affordable for solo travelers and couples while fairly covering additional use, cleaning, and utilities for larger groups (up to 6 guests). The total price will automatically adjust when the correct number of guests is selected at booking.
