The Leaf House - A quiet retreat in nature

A small, idyllic, and peaceful mountain retreat in the Troodos Mountain range, where you can enjoy the uniqueness of each season. The birds chirping, the rustling of the leaves, the clear starry sky, the summer breeze, the snow-covered peaks in winter and the sound of the nearby river combine the images and sounds of The Leaf House, which is located five minutes away from the village of Spilia but a hundred meters away from the closest house. The space The house is ideal for four people. At ground level there is a bedroom with a double bed and upstairs there is an open attic with two single beds. It also has a sofa in the living room that can convert into a double bed. There is one toilet which includes a shower, a sink, a cabinet and a washing machine. There is a small fireplace for cold winter days and nights, as well as air conditioning split units (hot and cold). The fully equipped kitchen is part of the siting room where you can relax and enjoy the view with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The specious courtyard is filled with the aromas of plants and trees. The front veranda faces large trees with all kinds of birds on the banks of a stream, just 30 meters far (winter – spring). Choose where you want to have your meals and drinks if you prefer to be outside, either on the veranda, the picnic table or under the shade of the ancient olive tree. There are books and board games for kids and grownups, both in English and Greek. Enjoy. Guest access You can access all parts of the place, both in and outside the house. Other things to note The traditional village of Spilia, known for its autumn mushroom festival, is just a five-minute drive. Spilia is located in the center of Cyprus, 50 minutes from Nicosia and 45 minutes from Limassol. Seven minutes down the main road toward Nicosia you will find the largest village in the area, the iconic Kakopetria, with its preserved old neighborhoods, its bars, restaurants, shops and cafés. The Troodos square and Olympus peak, the highest peak on the island, are ideal destinations just 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy the dense forest with its picnic areas and have fun at the ski tracks during winter. So what else is there in the area? Villages, mountain trails for hiking and cycling, forest parks, churches and monasteries, wine villages, museums, cultural monuments, waterfalls and dams, restaurants, picknick areas and adventure parks. Or you can always stay home, put your feet up and relax.
