❄️In the winter season (Dec 1 - Mar 30) our chalet is accessible by walking, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling! Start your vacation by enjoying the great outdoors with a short 0.5 km walk in nature. A cozy chalet awaits you, far from the stress of everyday life. Our guests will have access to sleds to facilitate the transport of luggage, a unique Canadian experience!🛷 The space Le Spot Caché offers you a unique relaxing getaway! ❄️ With its modern and warm decor, consider this chalet as your haven away from home, in complete privacy! The luxury of bringing together nature and comfort, where people gather to eat, drink and have fun! Located just a stone's throw from the magnificent Plaisance National Park, you can observe nature with more than 40 km of cycling and walking trails! Due to its proximity to the Ottawa River, you will have a view of the water throughout your stay, from inside to outside the chalet! The waterfront is reserved exclusively for you! A great place to enjoy swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding and kayaking. There are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and 1 canoe provided during the summer season, free of charge! On the gallery, you will have a breathtaking view of the sunrises and sunsets on the river. A great place to go out and breathe the fresh air, have your coffee wrapped in a blanket. Well-deserved comfort! The property is private and offers you several acres of tranquility with various places on the site to relax; rocking chairs, picnic tables, hammock and Adirondack chairs. Our cottage was completely renovated in the summer of 2023 to give you a unique experience. All furniture, kitchen and bedding (mattresses, linens and pillows) is new and clean to ensure your comfort. The Hidden Spot can accommodate up to 8 guests with its 3 queen-size bedrooms and a queen-size sofa bed with comfortable memory foam. Each room has its own unique decor and style, as well as storage space for your luggage. Linens and pillows are of hotel quality. Our kitchen is functional and has all the amenities to enjoy good company. We also have a dishwasher with detergent for your convenience. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace in the common area of the chalet, perfect for warming your soul! Experience aromatherapy with our essential oil ritual. Aromatherapy has been used since ancient times to naturally relieve certain everyday ailments, such as fatigue, muscle pain or stress. For evenings with friends or family, we offer board games in the living room. Perfect for unforgettable evenings! In Summer (May 1st - September 30th): - Water sports provided: 2 kayaks, 1 canoe and 2 paddle boards (flotation jackets are provided) - Fishing enthusiasts: You will have access to our private dock on the water to park your boat. The nearest boat ramp is at 98 Rue Henri Bourassa, Papineauville, QC J0V 1R0. More than 80 types of fish inhabit the waters of this river. The most beautiful animals that can be fished there are bass (small and large mouth), pike, muskellunge, black walleye, as well as yellow walleye. In Winter (December 15 to March 31): - The lot has several acres. A real joy for snowshoe lovers. The chalet is only 8 minutes from Plaisance National Park. Take the opportunity to discover the snowshoe trails. - Also, several snowmobile trails close by.
