❄️In winter season (Dec 1 - March 31) our chalet is accessible by walking, snowshoeing and snowmobiling! ❄️ Start your holiday by enjoying the great outdoors with a short walk of 0.5 km in nature. A cozy chalet awaits you, far from the stress of everyday life. Our guests will have access to sleds to facilitate the transportation of luggage, a unique Canadian experience! 🛷 The space The Hidden Spot offers you a unique relaxing getaway! With its modern and warm decor, consider this chalet as your haven away from home, in complete privacy! The luxury of bringing nature and comfort together, where people gather to eat, drink and have fun! Located near the beautiful Parc National de Plaisance, you can observe nature with more than 40 km of bike and walking paths! Due to its proximity to the Ottawa River, you will have a view of the water throughout your stay, from inside outside the chalet! The waterfront is reserved exclusively for you! A great place to enjoy swimming, canoeing, paddling and kayaking. There are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and 1 canoe provided during the summer season, free of charge! On the gallery, you will have an impregnable view of the sunrises and sunsets over the river. A great place to go out and breathe the fresh air, have your coffee wrapped in a cozy one. The comfort is so deserved! The property is private and offers several acres of tranquility with various places on the site to relax; rocking chairs, picnic tables, hammock and adirondacks chairs. Our cottage was completely renovated in the summer of 2023 to make you live a unique experience. All furniture, kitchen and bedding (mattresses, sheets and pillows) is new and clean to ensure your comfort. The Hidden Spot can accommodate up to 8 guests with 3 bedrooms in a queen format and a large bed sofa bed (queen) with a comfortable memory foam sofa bed. Each room has its own unique decor and style, as well as storage space for your luggage. Linens and pillows are hotel quality. Our kitchen is functional and has all the amenities to appreciate the good company. We also have a dishwasher with detergent to make your life easier. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace which is in the common air of the chalet, perfect for you to warm your soul! Enjoy an aromatherapy experience with our essential oil ritual. Aromatherapy has been used since antiquity to naturally relieve certain everyday ailments, such as fatigue, muscle pain, and stress. For evenings with friends and family, we offer board games in the living room. Perfect for memorable evenings! In Summer (May 1-September 30): - Water sports provided: 2 kayaks, 1 canoe and 2 paddleboards (float jackets are provided) - Fishing enthusiasts: You will have access to our private dock on the water to park your boat. The nearest boat launch is at 98 Rue Henri Bourassa, Papineauville, QC J0V 1R0. More than 80 types of fish populate the waters of this river. The most beautiful animals that can be fished there are the bass (small and large mouth), the pike, the maskinongé, the black golden, as well as the yellow gold. In Winter (December 15 to March 31): - The land has several acres. A real delight for snowshoe lovers. The cottage is only 8 minutes away from Plaisance National Park. Take the opportunity to discover the snowshoe trails. - Also, several snowmobiling trails close by.
