Rest a little or live a little, at Loma Langi Farm on the edge of Parkes. This family friendly farmhouse with its massive fenced yard is perfect for recreation or relaxation, whichever you prefer for your country getaway. A 3 minute drive will get you into the heart of town, or you can get food delivered, but when you've had enough of the hustle and bustle you are away from it all on this little farm on the Billabong Creek. The space Loma Langi is situated on the edge of Parkes township, on 20 acres of land on the Billabong Creek. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serenity, but with enough space and close enough to town to keep the family entertained. The home is fully fenced, so perfect for the kids to explore the yard and gardens (just be vigilant for snakes) and the front patio is fully contained for the littler kids. Guests can walk down to the creek and have a picnic, explore the township of Parkes, which is 5 minutes drive away, ride bikes down and around the creek or head out fishing or boating at the nearby Lake Endeavour (25min drive) There is a sit-on kayak and life jackets you may borrow from the garage, an adult mountain bike with toddler seat, children's push bikes and scooters. We only ask that you look after the equipment and return it. Watch the wild lorikeets feed from the kitchen window, show the kids the cattle in the yards or paddock and count the bunnies as they dart across the driveway. In wet weather enjoy a DVD from the collection on the large TV in livingroom or bedroom 1, or choose from the collection of board games or books. Relax in the massage chair in front of the telly and let the tension melt away. In summer you can fill up the kids wading pool, or run in the sprinkler in the shady yard. The children can search for treasure in the pebble pit or jump on the massive spring-free trampoline, complete with net and shade cover. or play in the garden cubby house and get their hands dirty looking for worms in the garden. If you still have energy left, you can use the gym room for a workout. It contains a cardio area, adjustable dumbells, cables, power cage with Barbells and chin up bar and plyometric box. Guest access Guests have access to the whole home. You will have access to the creek and paddocks for walking. Help yourself to veggies from the garden and eggs from the chickens. A well equipped gym is available for your use, containing adjustable dumbbells, power cage and barbells, bench and plyometric box. Other things to note The household is fairly tech-simple. The TV'S can play DVDs but are not Smart TV. Telstra mobiles have full reception but other providers may be patchy. You can get internet with Telstra 4G on your mobile but there is no fixed internet connection or wifi in the house. Enjoy the tech break! Pets are welcome outdoors.
