The space “The Durham Bull Pen” is the place to come relax and base out of in downtown Durham. 3 large separate bedrooms connect to a large main living and dining area with comfortable furniture and plenty of space for up to 6 guests. There is a well stocked kitchen with all the basics to make cooking and cleanup easy. The property is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, dish washer, microwave, stove/oven, and all the basics to make it easy to cook meals. Also included are full sized clothes washer and dryer free to use for guests. A rotating selection of live tropical plants and cuttings make the property feel welcoming, fresh, and vibrant. To celebrate the rich history of Durham and the Durham Bulls we have included some fun throwback jerseys and other vintage baseball paraphernalia and vintage Bull Durham Tobacco signs. The Golden Belt manufacturing co. right across the street used to make the cloth tobacco pouches for Bull Durham tobacco and other textiles starting in 1901-1988 and was revitalized in 2008. Across the street under the "ART" sign you can explore and meet with the artists in their gallery spaces, grab a pizza at Cugino Forno, and some great beer from Hi-Wire Brewing. A vintage Japanese coin operated slot machine is lots of fun with friends and family during your stay and with a little luck you might hit the Jackpot!
