A relaxing yet beautiful home created by a designer host will offer you an ideal escape from the busy city life. Only 1.5 hr driving from Manhattan’s mid-town West and under 2-hour drive from Queens and Long Island, The First House w/ Tea Room will bring you, your family, and friends so much joy and comfort. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish house that you can call it home while you stay. A few minutes drive to resorts, shops, restaurants, and bus station. The river is only steps away. The space This is a 3-bed and 2-bathroom house. Newly renovated and desinger decorated in every room. There is a tearoom/indoor mini garden where you can just gaze the trees and showered by the sunlight. You can do reading there alone or enjoy a tea time with another guest. One sleeper couch (green) is located in the living room facing the fireplace. Push and pull the back of the couch and it turns into a bed. Extra beddings are inside of the suitcase nearby. The house’s backyard is in process of getting a fish pond built. So pardon our appearance until the end of June 2024. It will be a beautiful backyard soon. The surrounding is relaxing and scenic, a lot of trees, birds, and deer. Take a picnic with your family and friends under the two huge apple trees on the side of the house. BBQ equipment is ready in the backyard. Enjoy your stay at The First House. The host lives nearby. Please feel free to text her when you have a question. Guest access You have the access to the entire house except a few closets and storage area which are reserved for the host and cleaning lady to access only. The backyard has limited access until the end of June 2024 when the fish pond is completed. Other things to note Note: there is NO usable oven in the house. IF you plan to cook with the oven, please choose another house. It is a house rule. We had too many issues with the oven.
