Self-contained luxury annex

The Annex is a self contained separate annex to our house for guests exclusive use. (Adults only) Located in the historical Kentish village of Leeds. 5 minutes from J8 - M20. Ideally situated to visit stunning Leeds Castle (15 mins walk) plus many other places of interest. Great stopover for Euro tunnel/Dover ferry port The Annex has it's own private entrance, rear patio area, sitting room with log burner/ fully equipped kitchenette, downstairs shower room/ large bedroom with kingsize bed. The space Self contained accommodation: The downstairs area is open plan with a kitchen/lounge which is cosy in the winter with additional heating from a log burning stove. Equally delightful in the summer when the patio doors can be opened up to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine on the private patio. The well equipped kitchen area has an induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine. (pods provided). Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery/glasses. Please note: there is no oven, just the microwave and induction hob. The comfortable sitting room area (with patio doors opening onto the patio) has a sofa, arm chair, log burning stove (logs are supplied) and Smart TV. Books, magazines. board games and tourist information are available to use during your stay along with Wifi. A door from the sitting room leads into the shower room with a walk in shower, towels on the heated towel radiator and complimentary shower gel, shampoo, conditioner for your use. The large upstairs bedroom, with King sized bed, bedside tables, chairs, lamps, mirror, plus plenty of drawer space and hanging space in cupboard. A hairdryer is also provided. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, plus a welcome pack for your arrival which includes milk/orange juice/cereals, together with bread, butter and jams. Guest access is via the Annex front door. There is ample secure parking space on the private driveway outside the Annex front door. Electric charging point available. Other things to note The Annex is ideally located for discovering many of Kent's beautiful attractions and also an ideal stop-over to break the journey before crossing the channel by Euro tunnel (Le-shuttle) or Ferry from the Port of Dover. Just a few minutes' drive or around a 15 minute walk from the Annex is the magnificent Leeds Castle, often described as "the loveliest castle in the world." Set within 500 acres of stunning parkland. It's perfect for a day of history (take a tour of the castle) gardens and lakeside walks - with its many events and attractions throughout the year. Not forgetting the Go-ape or Segway experience. See the big cats up close atThe Big Cat Sanctuary only a 15 minute drive. Stunning Canterbury with the historical Cathedral (tours of the Cathedral and historic city centre in many languages) Royal Tunbridge Wells, famous for The Pantiles, boutique shopping and cafés. Sissinghurst Castle's beautiful Garden's Chartwell, the former home of Sir Winston Churchill Kent Downs is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The surrounding countryside offers miles of scenic footpaths, woodland walks and cycling routes. The White Cliffs of Dover - a great walk along the cliffs from the National Trust carpark to the South Foreland Lighthouse. Enjoy tea and cake at the Lighthouse with great view across the channel to France. Not forgetting magnificent Dover Castle. Many superb local vineyards including Chapel Down, Balfour Winery (Hush heath) and Wild Shark. Enjoy a meal in one of the area's many award-winning country pubs and independent restaurants. Our local village pub The George is a 10 min walk from the Annex. Great for lunches or evening meals and offers a 10% discount on food to Annex guests.
