Two holiday homes on an estate on the Dordogne

Your holiday accommodation consists of two characterful holiday homes on the same courtyard of an ancient domain. Your vacation homes are called "La Figue" and "La Poire". They are fully furnished and restored gîtes, for a total of 4 to 8 people. It has all the comforts. The estate has a large swimming pool, is located on the river Dordogne and is centrally located between many tourist highlights, including the Gouffre de Padirac and Rocamadour. The space • 3 bedrooms for total 8 adults. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and a large wardrobe. If desired, we provide children's cot(s) and a box. * 1 bedroom with a double bed, possibly to be made up separately from each other. * 1 bedroom with a double bed, possibly to be made up separately from each other. The room is big enough to place a third bed if desired. * 1 bedroom with bunk bed for 3 people. The lower part is a double bed (140x200cm) • 2 Kitchens: dishwasher, Nespresso machine, 2nd filter coffee machine, fridge with spacious freezer compartment, microwave oven, kettle, spacious dining table, etc. • Fast WiFi in the gîte and in the garden. French, Dutch, and Flemish TV channels. Shared facilities on our estate: • Chlorine-free swimming pool 15 x 7 meters. Swimming without stinking eyes! • 3 acres of garden on the Dordogne, with canoe ramp. Very suitable for fish. • Washing machine & tumble dryer • Ping pong table and games • Bike rentals • Free parking on own property • Home cooked meals to warm up yourself. Guest access The location in France: on the river Dordogne, near the village of Prudhomat, in the middle of south-west France. The department / province is called Lot. Your gîtes La Figue (the fig) and La Poire (the Peer) are located in two centuries-old buildings on our property. The buildings were put into service around 1600 as a toll booth and inn for the travelers on the Dordogne. Captains of migratory bowls were able to change their horses there. Our domain consists of an old orchard with nuts and fruit, grassland and a piece of forest. There are 3 buildings on the premises of 3 hectares. In addition to your 2 gîtes, the third building is the main house of our family. Domaine de Vayssières is located in the village of Prudhomat. Here you will find a large castle, a restaurant (recommended!) and a small market twice a week. An 8-minute drive away is Bretenoux, with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, a cinema, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley, market, etc. Prudhomat is very quiet, yet centrally located among many tourist attractions such as Rocamadour and the caves of Padirac.
