Rare House

Description

As Rare As Your Imagination The space Rare House is situated in Kalga Village, a serene hamlet in Himachal Pradesh, is located near Barshaini in the Parvati Valley. To reach Kalga from Barshaini Dam, follow these steps: 1. Reach Barshaini Dam: • If you are coming from Kasol or Manikaran, take a local bus or taxi to Barshaini. It is the last motorable point in the region. • Barshaini is approximately 17 km from Kasol and takes about 45-60 minutes by road. 2. Start the Trek: • From Barshaini Dam, Kalga is about a 1-2 km uphill trek. The trek is well-marked and takes approximately 20-40 minutes, depending on your pace and weather conditions. 3. Follow the Trail: • Cross the dam and take the trail that ascends toward Kalga. • Ask locals or other trekkers for directions, as they are familiar with the route. • You’ll pass through forested paths with stunning views of the Parvati Valley. 4. Arrive at Kalga: • Once you reach the village, you’ll find Nepali market from where you need to take left for Rare House. Tips: • Wear sturdy shoes suitable for trekking. • Carry water and light snacks. • The trail can be slippery during the monsoon or winter, so proceed cautiously. • Start the trek during daylight hours for better visibility.
