Once a hanamachi (flower district) like Gion is today, this area retains a relaxed atmosphere with local shops and cafes. Our guesthouse features air conditioned rooms, free WiFi and common areas to work or relax. There is also a shared kitchen, bathrooms, showers and laundry service. We have two showers and three toilets, providing ample space for all guests. ♨️ Immerse Yourself in Kyoto’s Sento Culture For a truly authentic Japanese bath experience, we encourage you to visit a local sento (public bathhouse), just a short walk from Hachi. Kyoto has a rich sento tradition, making it the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. 🌙 Living & Dining Areas Guests are welcome to use the spacious shared living room, fully equipped kitchen, and dining area. Please be considerate of other guests as lights are out from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Other things to note No Curfew, But Please Be Respectful There is no curfew, but please remember that this is our home, and we kindly ask you to be mindful of noise levels, especially to avoid disturbing our neighbors. Traditional Machiya—Sound Carries As our building is a traditional Kyoto townhouse, soundproofing is limited. Please be considerate of other guests, particularly in the early morning and late at night. No Smoking Indoors Smoking inside the building is strictly prohibited. Please use the designated smoking area outside. Children Under 12 Please note that we may not be able to accommodate children under 12 due to the traditional nature of the building. If you are traveling with children, please contact us in advance. Damage & Repair Costs Guests will be responsible for any damages caused during their stay. In the event of damage, repair costs may be charged accordingly.
