You will love the peaceful surroundings of this amazing and unusual destination. The Horsebox is a unique place to stay on a fabulous lake side, with tranquil views over the water to the hills. A fishing platform and seating area. There's a toilet and handwashing sink inside as well as a kitchen (with fridge, microwave, kettle, hob and grill), living room, bed above the cab (futon for extra guests in living rm) and a super drop down front onto the lake. Shower & larger bathroom at the lodge. The space Park right outside and youre ready to enjoy The Horsebox. It's a wonderful quirky accommodation situated at Raygill Fishing Lakes. It's toasty warm with a log burner inside and the entire front wall drops open onto the lake with lovely views if the weather is good. Guest access There's a balcony and seating area. A very small garden with a secure fence all around. Raygill is a beautiful place to take a walk, we have fishing lakes here that you can fish right from your garden. IT IS NOT ACCESSIBLE FOR SWIMMING OR PADDLE BOARDING and is ADULT ONLY Accommodation. No people or dogs to enter the lakes. The scenery is breathtaking tho. It's lovely to wakeup to the birds singing but the ducks can be a little quackers in a morning. Ask us aboutRaygill, it's a very interesting place. At the Lodge is a shower room. There's a cafe on Saturdays & Sundays and a bar open Fri, Sat, Sun evenings. Other things to note Information booklet in Horsebox. This is adult only accommodation, no children. There is NO WiFi or mobile signal there but both can be got at the lodge. We also have a 2nd accommodation called The Hideaway across the lake from The Horsebox You will need to bring your own tea towels and personal towels, milk of your choice.
