Schönhof in the Weinviertel

The space The old farmhouse was completely refurbished and renovated for 1 1/2 years. Care was always taken to ensure that the original character of the house was preserved and that the originally used building materials were used for the renovation. In the different rooms there is a photo of the previous condition of the respective room. In the dining room you will find the portraits of the original residents - Anton and Leopoldine Schönhofer - they are the namesake of the farm and the house: Haus Anton. On the property, there is a second, smaller house, which will also be renovated at the end of 2024. This will be the future Leopoldine house. Guest access The house has access to a protected courtyard with lounge, a large courtyard with various seating options, as well as a garden with gazebo. Other things to note The Schönhof is located directly on the cycling trail "Polt" and is therefore an ideal location for a stop. In addition, you can also visit one of the many surrounding wineries or walk through the cellar lanes and vineyards. Day trips can be made to Retz or Znaim.
