My husband Juan (French-Argentinian) and I (French) invite you to stay in our charming country house: Posada "Inti Watana", which stands out for its theme: the Inti Watana - the Solar Clock - for its natural, recycled materials and for the actions we take to care for the environment. We live in the place all year round and attend to you personally. Our charming traditional and country-style house is located just 2 kilometers from downtown Tafi del Valle (5 minutes by car, 25 minutes on foot), in a quiet and safe residential area of quinta houses, overlooking the mountains, near the river; it is the start of many activities related to nature in addition to the activities that we propose on our property and that we invite you to discover. Our mansion and Inn (Posada Inti Watana, the Posada del Sol Detenido) is the first ecological theme hotel in Tafi del Valle awarded for its actions for the Environment. You can discover the Inti Watana, the Solar Clock, its science and art, within the framework of responsible and sustainable tourism. The house provides natural and organic products made from fruits (apple, quince, pear, peach, plum, nuts...) from its farm located in the high Calchaquíes Tucumanas: variety of homemade sweets depending on the season, natural apple juice (depending on the season), organic Creole nuts, homemade bread, yogurt with cereals. PRIVATE PARKING (anti-hail fabric), WIFI throughout the house and rooms, living room and its winter garden, lounges, Jesuit-style gallery with tables, hammock, armchairs, 3500 m2 park with native plants and flowers, organic vineyards and garden, compost (natural fertilizer), permaculture cultivation, view of the hills, river 200 meters away. WE DO NOT HAVE A RESTAURANT OR BAR for lunch and/or dinner service. We are only a 5-minute drive (2 kilometers) from downtown where you will find a wide range of restaurants. A 2-minute walk away is also a restaurant in a tourist complex. IN-ROOM AMENITIES AND SERVICES Very comfortable mattress (extra large bed in certain rooms), private bathroom (with shower with very good pressure), closets, desk with chair, NO TV (you will find it in the common room), quality bed linen and bath towels, amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner), hair dryer, electric heating (winter), hot water 24 hours a day, view of the hills and garden, magazines and tourist documentation. Some rooms have their own gallery with a table and armchairs. During your stay If you wish, Juan and Fabienne can offer you all the practical and tourist information about the valley (they speak Spanish, French and English). A lot of material is available: guides, books, brochures, maps.... (request it) to help you travel and make your stay a success. Juan and Fabienne will be able to recommend and suggest places, activities, excursions, outings, restaurants... depending on your plans and tastes. Their philosophy of travel, having been and being great travelers, is the practice of authentic and responsible tourism, traveling with awareness, with respect for local cultures and their environment. Other things to note We have a particular interest in welcoming people who love and care for nature and local people, as we promote above all the practice of RESPONSIBLE and SUSTAINABLE TOURISM.
