Welcome to my charming 1 bedroom apartment (40m²) with a private terrace and a stunning 180°lake view from the terrace. The interior design was lovingly renovated in 2023. Here you can unwind in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, relax or also plan excursions around the lake. Enjoy the best sunsets on Lake Como from here! The space YOUR HOME: This charming monolocale consists of a light-flooded bedroom-living room with open, fully equipped kitchen as well as a bathroom. The private terrace with outdoor dining area is the perfect place to enjoy the lake view. In summer, the air conditioning ensures pleasant nights, while heating provides soothing warmth in cooler times. This charming Monolocale is set in a unique house built directly into the rocks. The house exudes a special charm with its slightly outdated but lovingly preserved character. LOCATION: My apartment in Pognana Lario is ideally located in a charming village between Como and Bellagio. Here you can not only relax by the lake (swimming beaches are easily accessible), but also take trips to the neighboring cities. A local small supermarket in Pognana provides you with everything you need. Otherwise, a nearest supermarket is 10 minutes by car. ARRIVING AND PARKING BY CAR: I recommend arriving by car for maximum flexibility. Note that the apartment does not have a permanently assigned parking space, but free street parking is available. Important: please do not use the parking spaces in front of the house under any circumstances! ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSIT: Lake Como is of course best to travel by car, but there is also public transportation (beware - these can always be crowded in summer). Apartment is located in Pognana Lario and is therefore accessible by bus from Como or Belaggio (bus line C30). Como has a well connected train station that can be traveled to Milan within 1 hour. The public boat service, just a few steps down the stairs, is an ideal way to explore the lake once a day from April to September. LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN: The large windows offer magnificent lake views. The kitchen is fully equipped, including fridge, oven, stove and coffee maker with free coffee (no microwave). A spacious hallway offers enough storage space for your luggage and clothes. SOFABED: The comfortable sofa bed is transformed into a cozy bed in the evening. On request, I will be happy to prepare it for you. High quality bed linen and towels are provided. PATIO: The terrace offers you a 180°view with sun all afternoon. A table and four comfortable chairs invite you to breakfast, coffee, aperitivo at sunset or simply relax. The terrace is also surrounded by some nature and offers a very special atmosphere. In the rainy season, a small stream can flow right past the balcony, so slight water noise can be heard. Guest access ACCESS FOR YOU: YOU can easily check in yourself. This apartment is ideal for those who enjoy a charming village (also as a base for experiences) and appreciate a unique home with character. However, if you prefer to be in the middle of the city or prefer modern new builds, another home could be a better fit for you.
