The space Villetta translates to "Cottage" in Italian. With so much to do in this area, to discover, to experience, your days can be filled After an adventurous day out the Villetta is the perfect place to come back to, with the serenity of the property offering you a relaxed and comfortable environment. Alternatively, you may choose to stay in and take in your surroundings throughout your stay. The Villetta has been completely renovated to accommodate those needing a space which is restful , soulful with a touch of luxury, elegance + peacefulness. Being located in the heart of Matakana countryside, we are literally minutes from everything including the Sawmill etc (+ only 45 mins to Te Arai Links) We wanted to offer you an experience of luxury + quality, hence we have invested in comfortable beds (it is like sleeping on clouds) + amenities for you to enjoy throughout your stay. For those seeking a special place for their honeymoon, or a couple needing a wee break away, or a girls weekend, maybe a family get together whatever your occasion the Villetta can accommodate. The Villetta/Matakana is not too big or too small. We are also well equipped for business travel with Starlink internet, plus work station etc. Bedroom 1 leads from the open plan living room with Bedroom 2 is tucked in behind. Please note : the access to the bathroom is from bedroom 1. Bedroom 2 has its own private patio. The Villetta's bathroom has been fully renovated with every detail thoroughly thought through, including quality Italian tiles, under floor heating + heated towel rail, with a sensor lighting for your safety. We have luxury towels + Matakana's Macadamia Fig Body wash + cream. Our Villetta is perfectly situated to capture the sun from morning to night - with the opportunity to find shade or sun whichever is your preference Being surrounded by mature trees offers a beautiful bird life, nature at its best, listening to the birds sing and play is a delight to listen to and watch The Villetta offers a unique experience (with no hotels in our area) we wanted to give you a quality and restful, relaxing holiday escape/experience We have a private outside courtyard, smart TV, Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, dining inside + out with quality furnishings throughout the Villetta. Come and discover this piece of paradise for yourself. Guest access You have full access to the Villetta/Matakana, along with your own private outdoor area + parking. Parking is immediately outside the Villetta with no steps or stairs. The pathway is fully lit + sensor lighting, with French doors at your entrance. We back onto Tamahunga Reserve so we are surrounded by mature Native Trees with our wonderful NZ Native Bird Life. It is a stunning private peace of paradise. Your hosts live on the property 100 m from the Villetta, however both properties are facing away from each other which offers that essential privacy. If you choose to stay in and enjoy the surrounding, your hosts are happy to create a cheese board sourced from our local suppliers. (Costs vary due to the season). Whatever the occasion this is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy. Other things to note Please note that there is a stream down from the Villetta - children MUST BE ASSISTED AT ALL TIMES. We have a strictly “no parties policy” We offer a peaceful country escape for all to enjoy Please note we are a two bedroom cottage, with the opportunity to shut off bedroom 2 if not required. If you are travelling in 2's (ie friends) requiring the extra bed/bedroom (due to cleaning costs there is a surcharge of $75.00 per night - for the extra bed) Thank you for your understanding. Everyone thus far who has stayed at the Villetta has loved the stunning surroundings - it is simply relaxing and gorgeous. We have fresh cold water in the fridge on your arrival We are on Tank Water (sourced only via rainfall) which is delicious UV drinking water straight from the tap.
