The space This gorgeous 1300 sq. ft. modern log cabin features a full kitchen with top-end appliances and granite counter tops. There is an enormous, sumptuous bathroom with a natural rock shower. Fantastically efficient heat and air-conditioning. Plus a conveniently located full size, very quiet, laundry located off kitchen at the opposite end of the cabin from the bedrooms. A small dedicated work area has a sweet view where you can plug directly into the router, or use your laptop anywhere with WiFi. The living room invites the rustic charm of board and card games, or settle in front of the fire in a snuggly spot to read books or chat with a glass of wine. And in this central spot, there is an HD TV with Roku. The whole cabin is recently renovated: a home that is the perfect blend of rustic and completely up-to-date, roomy with 2 private bedrooms. Bedroom number 1 has a king-size bed. Bedroom number 2 has a full-size bed and plus the added additional feature of a private entrance directly onto a covered side patio under some tall shady trees next to a mossy side garden area. It is a wonderful secluded spot to sit away by yourself for a few minutes of calm or try the patio with its' expansive view. Either is wonderful for a cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa before the bustle of the day starts. Guest access Your cabin is in the center of a quietly working 1300-acre ranch. The enormity of the ranch is hard to comprehend, but yours to explore. (See this site map in our photos.) Only a few posted areas are off-limits for your safety. The placement of the cabin on the ranch perfectly captures a large panorama of both the lake and the picturesque Mt. McLoughlin in the distance. Brilliant sunrises and sunsets are not to be missed! Because the ranch is large, a large amount of guest parking is available for the duration of your stay. There are 5 spots for standard vehicles immediately next to the cabin. Larger vehicles, tow rigs and trailers, Class A vehicles and other vehicle parking can be accommodated. Just let us know in advance. Other things to note Bass fishing: we supply a couple of poles and lures. Please feel free to bring your own fishing poles and tackle gear. Fishing gear is also available to rent in a nearby town if needed. Please see our guidebook! Boating: a few row boats and a canoes are available for your use. When the pontoon boat is on the lake, feel free to use it as a dock for fishing or swimming. Please use life vests at all times and understand that you are boating at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Use your own best judgment as to all factors including weather conditions and your own skill level, please. Rock hunters have been coming to our ranch to find quartz and jasper for the past 80 years. Feel free to enjoy the hunt and please use discretion when selecting a few special pieces to take home with you.
