The Farm Shed is a beautiful, sunlight filled casita that sits next to the Rio Lucero Farm green houses. This casita had been an artists studio for 15 years: clay, painting, metal work. Now it's part of our organic farm. There is a sweet deck facing west to catch the sunlight in the afternoons. In the summer we grow 1000's of pounds of Green Chile at this location. In summer we roast green chili out front on the main road. Easy access, great location. The space This casita in El Prado sits next to the Rio Lucero Farm Green Houses where we grow and roast the legendary New Mexican Green Chile! El Prado means The Meadow or The Feild. About 1 mile north of the Taos Plaza, just off the main road, this casita sits behind the Rio Lucero Farm Store (in progress and due to open in June of 2026.) Guests are welcome to walk through the green houses during the growing season when farmers are present. Great location for exploring Historic Taos, Ski Valley and for tasting locally grown produce during the growing season. Three minute walk to Orlando's New Mexican Cafe. Queen size bed, washer/dryer, darling, well appointed kitchen. Nice view from living room of two very old apricot trees. Guest access This is a casita, guests have exclusive access to all areas of casita and private deck facing West. There is a lockbox, host will send lockbox code before check in time. Other things to note This is a relatively full kitchen - but the is no electric mixer or blender. This is a small space so there are drawers but no large pantry. Please see photos. There is no TV. My family watches movies on our laptops - so I assume most guests will do this as well.
