Description
Whether a museum tour or song contest: This classic old building apartment in the embassy district is the ideal base for exploring Vienna. Many sights, museums, concert halls, theaters, restaurants, shops, parks and public transport are within walking distance. It's a 10-minute walk to the city center, 20 minutes to Stephansplatz, and only 5 minutes to Belvedere Park and the airport express train. The apartment offers plenty of space for two on 135 m² — even for longer stays. The space Our apartment is located on the first floor of a typical Wilhelminian house on a quiet street in the embassy district of the 3rd district, in one of the best residential areas of the city. The central location and immediate proximity to the city center make the apartment particularly interesting for city travelers interested in culture. There is plenty of air and space for anyone who appreciates a generous and spacious ambience after a journey of discovery through Vienna. The furnishings are a mixture of modern furniture and selected antiques from different eras. Natural colors determine the image. The bedroom is away from the living rooms. So if you like to sleep longer, you will not be awakened if your partner prefers to get up earlier or go to sleep later. In addition, an en-suite bathroom with toilet, a living room, a dining room, a loggia (covered outdoor area with plants), a kitchen, another toilet and adjoining rooms are available to our guests. There is a baker one street away, as well as good restaurants, some of which also offer outdoor seating in summer. Grocery stores, pharmacies, a tobacco and magazine shop, a textile cleaning and many other shops are just minutes away. Tram, bus, subway, and express train are a few minutes' walk away. There are also numerous cultural offerings such as museums, concert halls, theaters, opera, exhibition halls or galleries. The Botanical Garden and the city park are also within walking distance and promise to breathe in the countryside. In the bedroom there is a small selection of books, in the anteroom cabinet board games, in the living room CDs (mostly classical) and of course a fast Internet connection. The apartment is also pleasantly cool in summer. Guest access When we are on vacation ourselves, we rent out this apartment since our children moved out. Our guests have a bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with toilet, a walk-in closet, the kitchen, a dining room, the living room, the loggia, another toilet and several anterooms. A total of 135 m2. Other private parts of the apartment are locked when we are away. Nevertheless, the apartment is full of private objects, full of rooms that have grown over time and conveys a lively atmosphere. Other things to note The apartment is a traditional Viennese old building apartment in a house that was built before 1900. Apartments of this kind have a very special charm for many people. The high, airy rooms, the double doors, the generous windows and much more create a very special feel-good climate. But an apartment that is over 100 years old also has its quirks. Some things are stuck. Others already have patina. Here and there you have to turn a blind eye. ;-) When we are there, three cats live with us in the apartment. The cats are not there during the rental. Nevertheless, allergy sufferers may have difficulties, even if everything was properly vacuumed and cleaned before arrival.
