The property offers two distinct cottages (this listing is for the 01 bedroom cottage) - a spacious two-bedroom haven complemented by an inviting dining area, and the other a serene one-bedroom suite. The lush gardens and the proximity to a private waterfall invite an immersive experience in the breathtaking surroundings. Meals are available at INR 600 per person per meal. - We do not provide room service. Meals are only served in the common dining area.  - Please follow meal timings:  Breakfast: 9:00 am - 10:30 am Lunch: 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm Dinner: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm HOUSE RULES: - Check-in time: 01:00 PM - Check-out time: 10:00 AM - Slow and soft music is okay, but please do not play loud music after 10 PM. - Services of the staff are available until 10:00 PM - We follow a strict no-smoking policy inside the house since it leaves a bad smell for the next guests. You may ask the caretaker for an ashtray and smoke outside the house if you need to. - We are Pet-friendly. However, please note that the owners also have their own dogs (two friendly german shepherds) . If you are bringing your pet, please bring your own pet beddings and pet food and make sure your pet is friendly with other dogs. •⁠ ⁠We avoid burning a lot of wood. Bonfire is complimentary for the first hour only. •⁠ ⁠There are many hiking trails around that guests can explore on their own. If you'd like a local /staff to accompany you, please pay them INR 800 per group. ACCOMMODATION: - Hushstay x Kipling Trail Cottage consists of 02 Units. These two units can be booked individually or together depending on the group size. For couples and small families we recommend the one-bedroom suite while the 02 bedroom unit is apt for a group of friends. Bigger groups can book both units together to have the entire space to themselves. Please make sure you select the correct number of guests and room type while booking. Please note that like any other home in the mountains, we do not have an air-conditioner at the property. Hushstay x Kipling Trail Cottage has been designed in such a way that there is proper wind circulation if the windows are opened in the afternoon.  - Electricity: Electricity is usually not a problem, however, being at an offbeat location, if there is an unprecedented power outage, we have to manage with lanterns and candles for lighting the rooms and dining. This might also offer you an opportunity to switch off and gaze at the starry night sky. We promise you will not regret it. - Physical Fitness: Our place is strongly recommended for outdoor lovers since we are surrounded by a number of great hiking trails. There is a waterfall and a secluded river beach just a few minutes hike away from the cottages. While you are here, we advise that you spend most of your time in the outdoors. If you are coming with younger kids / senior citizen who are physically fit and love outdoors, we can promise they will have a good time.   - There is no driver accommodation available at the property. Please make your own arrangements.  GETTING THERE: - As with all great places, getting to this paradise-of-a-location requires a 3.5 km hike (01 hr) on a scenic mountain trail from where you park your car. A good fitness level is required to walk this stretch comfortably.  -Our staff can help you with the luggage at INR 250 per round on a scooty which can carry 2-3 bags at a time.  Alternatively, if the weather is good, you may request the host for a pick-up on their gypsy at an additional cost of INR 1500 (to and fro) - Pick-up and drop-off services may not be available during the monsoon period.
