The Stable is upstairs en-suite room with private bathroom and a queen size bed. It is "horse-themed" and has a slider door that open to the deck overlooking the pool and pasture, and gets the afternoon sun. There is a Wi-Fi TV with Roku and an extra window A/C and small heater for the room for comfort. There is a larger entertainment area upstairs with leather theater recliners and Wifi/Roku and a day-bed for additional guests. We have lots of parking available for trailers and boats. The space Up-Country Sierra Foothills 10-Acre elegant living. Home. We are 5-15 minutes from Lake Camanche, Pardee Reservoir, and New Hogan Lake. Local Stores in Valley Springs and Clements. The best local wineries in Lodi are within 30 minutes. Close enough for day trips to Natural Bridges, gold country mining towns, and Big Trees. Yosemite and Tahoe are just a couple hours away. Come relax in the pool or by the fire pit after a busy day. Southworth Estates are 5 acre minimum properties. The area tends to be quiet. You can hear Osprey screeching, chickens cock-a-doodling, dogs barking, cows mooing, and frogs chirping. Local groceries, restaurants, hardware stores, & CVS are 15 minutes away. We have digs, chickens, alpacas, and a cow on the property. The cats have a cat door to go outside. The chickens provide fresh morning eggs, and a large veggie garden yields fresh items for salads and veggies. The alpacas we shear in April and I use the fiber on a spinning wheel and floor loom as well as other fiber arts and enjoyment. We are on well water and use a septic tank. Therefore, nothing other than human waste and loo paper are allowed down the toilet (or we find it later). The well water is UV and ozone cleaned and filtered - excellent to drink right out of the tap. No wonder Crystal Geyser bottles our Sierra water! 💧 I have a Keurig and hot water pot in the butler pantry with a selection of coffee, teas and water additives available anytime. For an up-charge, I have the extra daybed for an extra person, can provide various local wines, or assist someone making an alpaca felted soap. Guest access Guests may use the any common areas in the house. And we have a downstairs half-bath for use. Upstairs there is a TV and day-bed in the upstairs entertainment area with Roku and wifi. Feel free to go visit the animals. They love attention! And I can give you veggies to feed them. I usually have space in the kitchen fridge, but we have an extra fridge/freezer in the garage, and space for drinks in the butler pantry fridge. I can give you a dedicated cupboard in the kitchen for dry goods if you’d like one. During your stay I am usually home because I work from home. I like to give guests there space, but you are free to join us for breakfast or dinner as well. Just let me know if there is anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable. Other things to note There is a step to get into the front door. All sleeping areas are upstairs. There are stairs to get down to the pool area. We are on well water and use a septic tank, so nothing other than human waste and loo paper are allowed down the toilet (or we will find it later). If you are visiting with friends staying at a local lake, Lake Camanche, Pardee Reservoir, and New Hogan Lake are nearby, and I have an EBMud access pass available. I also have RV parking and water/electrical hookup available in the event the campgrounds are full. You will likely need a car to get around. This area does not have city-type public transportation. Although I think we had someone out here sign up to be an Uber driver.
