Come stay in our private studio apartment in our 1600's Historic Home - nestled on the banks of Silver Spring Lake on Tower Hill Road (also known as Route1S, main route with traffic lights that leads to all the best beaches!). Though 1600's in her bones, we have decorated the apartment in a boho-retro theme. The main room boasts a cathedral (beamed) ceiling, a comfy Queen bed, a freestanding closet + a 72”x28” chaise lounge that can be used as single bed for a smaller adult/teen. There is no shortage of pillows, blankets, & cozy "extras" including a "Sweet Dreams" gift bag for extra comfort on your pillow, loaner robes/slippers, and an air purifier for ultimate luxurious relaxation. Your private space comes with WIFI + ROKU TV (offering a variety of free channels); you are welcome to log into your own accounts like NETFLIX + HULU to watch movies/TV during your stay as well. There are also a plethora of board/card games, Atari Flashback & books in the main room. Thru the doorway & down 2 steps, you will find a fully stocked kitchen filled with tons of utensil / appliances you might need during your stay. Enjoy retro vibes as you sip your morning java, hot cocoa or tea overlooking the lake at our full-service coffee station. We offer a Keurig machine with complimentary pods, a full-size coffee maker, and a Nespresso milk frother. There are also a variety of flavored teas. Full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, toaster oven & stove/oven are yours to use during your stay. A table (which can flip down) can be used for both dining and work (outlet is located under the table). Up 1 flight of stairs to the bathroom, you can enjoy a variety of fluffy towels + complimentary slippers after your relaxing, dual head shower or bath. We provide shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body wash and lotion inside the shower. Outside the shower, we have included lots of extras in case you forgot something (shower caps, mouthwash, toothbrush, face creams, razor blades & more). Need something else? Just send us a message - we will do our best to accommodate you. One well behaved pup 25 lbs (or under) is welcome to stay with you! A dog bed, towels, toys & bowls are provided for your fur baby🐾🐶 Due to severe allergies, unfortunately, we are unable to accept requests for cats at this time. The outside boasts a private trellised deck at the top of the stairs, private driveway, hillside fire pit, private lake access for fishing*, canoeing + kayaking on the famed Silver Spring Lake. (*no fishing allowed during certain times of the year per the DEM-photo of regulations can be found in this listing). Many original details have been preserved in our home - including the floors & beams. In the cooler months enjoy the radiant heated floors in the master area and kitchen. In the warmer months, help yourself to the fresh mint and herbs growing on the deck & loaner beach gear. Guests staying 2+ weeks have access to washer/dryer during their stay. This property is located on a main road with traffic lights (35 mph). The guest suite is in the back of the house facing the lake. Please book accordingly as the property is not secluded/noiseless. The immediate attractions are the lake and Gooseneck Vinyards across the street which we LOVE. There are no walkable stores/dining. We provide a huge directory of local destinations and a list of “Dog Friendly” locations upon booking. Per the new rules of AirBNB: Camera disclosure: The Airbnb has (1) security camera prominently located above the door to the entrance of the unit. This is for security purposes only (in conjunction with other security cameras located on the owner’s side of the property). There are NO indoor cameras or sound decible devices within the unit. Please no open flames - the use of candles, lighters etc. in the home are strictly prohibited. There is no smoking of any kind or vaping permitted in the home. No parties or events in the apartment - this space is meant for quiet relaxation for all. Kindly use designated receptacles in the apt for recycling and trash. The owner's private backyard is just beyond the outdoor garbage bins - kindly do not wander or walk your pets on this side of the property. Thank you! Guest access You have private use of the entire apartment during your stay, inclusive of the deck and driveway. You are welcome to use the wood chip pathways that lead to a private lake entrance, as well as the yard adjacent to the Airbnb driveway. Please enjoy the fire pit and Adirondack chairs on the hillside, as well as the black/white bistro table. Kindly do not enter areas marked "Owners Closet" or access locked cabinets or the owner’s side of the yard (the yard just beyond the outdoor garbage bins is the owner's private space). Pets should be leashed at ALL times for their safety & the safety of others. Our furry guests can use the above mentioned outdoor areas to relieve themselves (including their own fire hydrant on the hillside and a potty poo pail). Dog gates (if needed) are located under the bed. Thank you! Other things to note Please note our home is located off of a narrow service road parallel to a main (very well traveled) road Rte 1S. Kindly follow instructions provided to ensure proper arrival to your vacation spot. We have included a short video to show where the turn off to the service road is. Signs to "Inn Finne T" indicate the entrance to your private driveway, as does mile marker 27.2 (see photo) and reflective arrows.
