Beach Pod - Waikawa Beach -North Island

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and one of a kind. This tiny home started out as the Koru Valet Parking Office at the Wellington Airport. It took 3 trucks, 2 hiabs and 3 pilots to transport the building to Waikawa Beach. Originally, it was used as a holiday beach hut, but we decided to make it a holiday home and put in a kitchen space, toilet, and shower. We lived here for 7 months until our house was complete. The Pod has been totally renovated, waiting for guests to enjoy. The space 700m walking to the beach access . Private entrance, space, and parking. There are no streetlights, so it is very dark and quiet , great for star gazing. Bring a camera or, just enjoy the sights and sounds of the local bird life. We have a Black Lab onsite ( Loki), who is social and would welcome your dog. Guest access There is a private gate and key lockbox to the right of the door on the wall Other things to note We are on rainwater and a Septic tank, there are bags provided in bathroom . Murphy Bed installed to allow maximum space, remember to drop leg up and down when not in use. You can also enjoy your private firepit. Please be respectful of other residents and beachgoers
