Chicory Cottage: Beautiful Cotswolds Home + EV ch.
Description
Our English cottage dating from the 1700s is snug in winter and stunning in summer! With all mod-cons, Chicory Cottage is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. We're on the edge of a small historic town, with countryside views from the garden. Malmesbury's pubs, restaurants and famous abbey are a short walk, or you can head in the other direction for a country hike. Or just make yourself at home in front of the cosy log-burner, work remotely with our super-fast wifi, or relax in the pretty garden. The space Almost 300 years old, Chicory Cottage has been thoroughly and sensitively refurbished to make it a perfect home for the 21st century. We have a log burner and the cottage holds heat well, so you’ll be cosy if it’s cold outside. Our blisteringly-fast wifi works in every corner of the house and you'll look forward to a powerful shower in our modern bathroom. Relax in the front room with smart TV or share a nice meal in the dining area. Our country kitchen, with skylight, has everything you need to make yourself at home. On chilly evenings, the cottage is very snug, with the thick stone walls keeping the heat in. We like to encourage nature in our garden, so we hope you'll enjoy some time on the terrace with a glass of wine or a nice cup of tea. The two bedrooms are designed to help you relax and have a great night's sleep. Switch off devices, enjoy the comfy double beds and savour the peace and quiet! Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole house and garden. The only exception is the extra bedrooms on the top floor. These won’t be occupied, so you’ll have the cottage to yourself. Other things to note There is parking available on our front drive. Second cars can be parked on the street, which is free of charge. We have an EV charger, which you can use for just the cost of the electricity. Our stairs are quite steep, so they are not suitable if you are very infirm. The house will be left spotless for your arrival, but you may see the odd small bug as this is the countryside! Well-behaved pets are very welcome to stay.
