Other things to note DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN: Take the N1 in the direction of Paarl. Take the Klapmuts/Wellington off-ramp then turn right under the highway towards Stellenbosch/Franschhoek. Go straight through the 4-way intersection and then take the next turn-off on the left towards Franschhoek. Just after Vrede en Lust, turn right at the intersection into the R45 towards Franschhoek.
