Other things to note Please note that the unstable power supply from the electricity board may lead to frequent and unpredictable power outages in the area. Babal Bliss does not currently have a generator, but we are equipped with solar power, which can comfortably run essential lighting and ceiling fans throughout the day. However, air conditioning and the oven should not be used while the villa is operating on solar power. However, we understand this may not suit every traveller's expectations, and we encourage you to reach out with any questions before booking. Due to the villa's tropical location, you can expect to see many geckos, frogs and small spiders, all of which are harmless and very normal. You may occasionally see snakes and scorpions, which are common, but best to keep your distance. Mosquitoes are present in Sri Lanka and although we provide mosquito nets, we do recommend that you wear repellent and close doors and windows at dawn and dusk.
