The Little Piggery is our refurbished Welsh stone outbuilding, in the grounds of our property. Perfect for couples, with its quirky layout, mezzanine upper floor (former 'lloft wair' - hayloft) which has restricted head height but super comfy king size bed and countryside views. Located in a tranquil rural area, just 10 minutes walk to the coast and 15 minutes walk to the nearest pub/cafe/chipshop. Small/medium size dogs accepted at a £25 surcharge The space New to Anglesey? Here's a bit more information: Anglesey is many things. It is a place that inspires, a place that appeals to all the senses – a place to see, hear, taste, smell and feel. It is a place to get away from it all. But most of all, Anglesey is a place to get out and do! From the minute you cross one of the bridges you’ll see stunning landscapes, unspoilt coastlines and picturesque towns and villages that are just waiting to be explored. Miles of scenic walks on the on the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path and cycle paths await you, as do some of the best water based activities. There is so much to be discovered, from the islands rich culture and heritage and wonderful gardens to the unusual ‘moonscape’ landscapes that are home to an extraordinary amount of plants and wildlife. Much of our coastline has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and come rain or shine our fabulous beaches offer something for everyone – vast stretches of sand, safe swimming and windswept bays where a bracing walk and rock pooling are the call of the day. Guest access The Little Piggery has its own small patio area with table, chairs and kettle barbecue but guests are also welcome to use our large garden space with pond, gazebo, fire pit and seating (dogs on leads though please because of our cats, chickens and nearby livestock). Other things to note PLEASE NOTE THERE IS RESTRICTED HEAD HEIGHT ON THE MEZZANINE SLEEPING DECK, APPROX 4 FEET HIGH AT THE EAVES TO APPROX 5 FEET 10 AT THE APEX: See our pictures for a better idea. There is an open narrow staircase accessing the mezzanine with a handrail on both sides. Please also bear in mind our cottage is situated in a rural location, occasionally with grazing sheep in the adjoining fields and numerous other wildlife. It is therefore to be expected that you might encounter the occasional fly, wasp, bug etc inside the property from time to time. We clean the property thoroughly after every booking but cannot be held responsible if these might enter the property when doors and windows are left open, especially in the summer.
