Boasting 3 bedrooms (can sleep 8 comfortably, with 2 queens, 2 singles and a King bed), an indoor spa, 2 bathrooms, living and dining room, heating and cooling throughout with a private patio for your use as well as included wifi- This is the perfect place for a city escape. Situated on the outskirts of Cockatoo on the iconic Puffing Billy railway, this cottage retreat in the hills offers both a quiet relaxed getaway and a launching place for activities in the local areas. Situated only 100 metres from your front door is thePuffing Billys FIELDER station where you can explore a day along the train line, featuring stops at Belgrave, Gembrook, Emerald Lake park and much, much more. There are walking tracks through the hills and a berry picking farm across the road. The Cottage is an ideal tourist attraction close to Emerald Lake park, Yarra Valley, Healesville Sanctuary, Sherbrooke Forest, Silvan Tulip Festival and not to mention all the picturesque walks on one of the many walking tracks. There is a covered outdoor patio area, where you can have a barbeque, Dogs are very welcome- but please no cats, as we live in the bush, we do our best to look after the local wildlife. Living in the bush brings with it that you cannot light a fire in fire danger periods. Our aim is to give you a place of rest and enjoyment.
