Great location, close to Manhattan . This private, 9' x 10' room is clean and has recently been painted. It is the second bedroom in my two bedroom apartment, located on the second floor of three story apartment building with no elevator. Inside the room you will find a comfortable twin size bed, wall closet (I am using the top part for storage) and a desk. The apartment is well ventilated and clean. The heat is good in the winter and there is a window fan for summer months. WiFi internet is provided. Please note: I have a very friendly nine-pound poodle. I work on my own schedule, but I will interact respectfully and will do my best to make your time in our apartment as comfortable as I possible can. While our street and immediate area are quiet and peaceful, you have easy walking access to: laundromat, pharmacy 24h, groceries, cinema, coffee shops, USPS, Planet Fitness and Blink (gyms), Museum of the Moving Image, bars, hooka places, nightclubs, shops and a variety of international restaurants where you can go or just place an order and your food will be delivered. You can easily find food from many countries, such as Japan, Mexico, China, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Thailand, India, Egypt, Cuba, Colombia, Peru, and Germany, in addition to American food, bars and hooka places. We are in the diverse, multi-ethnic, neighborhood of Astoria, in Queens, NY. Ours is a peaceful, residential area on a quiet street, located between two NYC subway stations with access to Manhattan on the M and R lines. (During some weekends the F and E are running local, but not the M train.) We are a quick four train stops from Midtown Manhattan. Also there is a bus stop right at the corner. Alternatively, taxis and car services, such as Uber and Lift are easy to access if you prefer. JFK airport is 30 minutes from home and La Guardia only 15 minutes by car. Depends on traffic.
