Description
Bailey Point offers the original 1940’s family cottage situated at the water’s edge on a 2+ acre private point near Deer Harbor, WA. The property includes point access and panoramic views of Shaw Island, Bell Island, Pole Pass, and Crane Island. Permit #: PPROV0-15-0060 The space The 1940’s cottage features a master bedroom (with king bed) and adjoining bathroom, large sun-porch (aka, dining room/sleeping porch with 2 single studio beds), living room, utility room and nicely appointed kitchen. Most rooms offer a beautiful view of the Sound. The back patio off the kitchen is perfect for barbequing, and the front porch and deck are ideal for sunbathing, reading, boat watching, outdoor dining and taking in the killer sunsets over Pole Pass. Heat sources are baseboard heating in most rooms and a small wood stove in the living room. Sheets and towels are provided. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and property south of the house, toward the point. The property north of the house (where a second house is visible) is separate. Other things to note The water comes from a private well and is non-potable. We'll leave some jugs of drinkable water for you, but we do recommend bringing your own, too. The grocery store in Eastsound has a station to fill water jugs.
