Description

A modernised 1970's terraced house in the beautiful area of Petersham, an award-winning village between Richmond and Kingston. Just a stone's throw away from the River Thames, Ham House and Richmond Park. A 15 min bus ride into Richmond or Kingston with plenty of free parking if needed. While she is away seeing family, this is the Landlady's main residence so the house is very much 'lived in' with her personal belongings remaining in the flat. The space A driveway leading up to the house, a small entrance/hallway with stairs up to the bedrooms and shower room from there. Downstairs, front lounge area and open plan kitchen diner overlooking the garden. Upstairs, the door at the end of the corridor is locked off from the rest of the house. The larger well-sized bedroom comes with a comfortable double bed, TV with Chromecast (to connect to your mobile) and a window overlooking a large Georgian House across the road. The smaller bedroom has a small double sofa-bed/fouton that has been opened out into a floor mattress, comfortably sleeping two small or one large/taller guest. You will have access to a nature-filled patio garden with dining facilities, a large fully-equip kitchen and a cosy lounge area too. Guest access The House: When you enter the porch you will find a green door on your left and the small alley way on your right - This alley way leads to another entrance to a small studio room which is separate from the main house and has a young gentleman living there called Johnny. Use the green door on your left - Once you enter the house, you will find a staircase leading to the bedrooms and shower room. Downstairs, you will find the hallway leading to your kitchen dining room and front lounge. Other things to note Finding the house is easy using the postcode with maps on your phone. Having a car around here is recommended as there is free parking and the train station is more than a 25/30 min walk away. However, the bus stop is very close by and there are very regular, as usual in London Suburbs (approx every 7-10 mins). Transport from Richmond station: 371 Bus route (via Kingston), get off at 'Ham Street' bus stop. This is a 1-minute walk from the house. Uber from Richmond Station: 5-10 mins (15-20 mins in rush hour) and this can cost a minimum, £6/7.
