Our Carriage House Is located about 200 ft behind the main house and we are only one mile off I65 exit 91a and 6 miles from the Elizabethtown Sports Park. We are just 2 miles from downtown Elizabethtown and 6 miles from the antique shops of Glendale. This is a great place to stay while touring close by Bourbon Distilleries. We are also less then 1 hour from Louisville, Mammoth Cave, Rough River, Nolin Lake and Green River Lake. Bernheim Forest (our favorite) is only 30 minutes away which is a must see for nature lovers, artists and outdoor enthusiasts. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire estate with exception of our house and garage. Great for walks, grilling, picnics, campfires, fishing and seeing nature. While the Carriage House is non-smoking we provide a covered smoking area for guests and allow smoking anywhere outdoors. Other things to note This is a wooded country location. Common issues would be mosquitos and bugs "outside". Tree sap and leaves falling. The driveway changes from blacktop to gravel as you approach the Carriage House.
