Pineapple House

Found in the grounds of a tropical park near La Fortuna, Pineapple Houes is a typical local style house with three beds, bath, living room terrace and a spacious rancho. Ideal for groups 6/8 people or couples. An adventurous unique experience!! The space Pineapple house is a rustic, 3 bedroom lodge with a kitchen (cooker, rice cooker, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, pots and pans, basic condiments) and shower room. In the main living area is a computer, wireless internet and a television. There's a large veranda with seating and steps down into a large covered ranch with more seating and a small barbecue. The house is next to the main entrance and perched on the edge of a slope, with views over the canopy. From here, there are 8 miles of trails leading to the main house, swimming pool a river and a waterfall. There are more than 250 types of birds (Currently 6/8 Collared Aracari visiting us for breakfast each day) and other incredible wildlife, an enormous variety of plants and fruits and a wonderful view of the Arenal Volcano. Guest access This is a private place although easy access to La Fortuna $10 in taxi or 12 minutes by car. We offer local authentic family style food, breakfast, lunch and dinner by prior request. There's a laundry service and help with tours and activities. Options are best discussed here as there are many, and the weather can change quickly. Other things to note It is advisable to bring a torch for navigating the paths after dark and a map of the local area for navigation.
