The historic farmhouse welcomes guests from all over the world to live in a clean and safe agricultural community. Located across the street from Bishop's University, our farm house is convenient and welcoming. The urban farm is dedicated to growing healthy farm food, caring for honey bees, dozens of varieties of fruits and vegetables, edible flowers as well as chickens, geese and rabbits. Guests will learn and grow at the farm too, if they volunteer time and efforts to build the farm. The space Close to Bishop's University and Agriculture Canada's research centre, with privacy and a natural urban setting. Active small organic farm still in operation will provide fresh produce for our guests in season. The rooms are vintage 20th century style rooms, with so much character for each room. Ohh, if the walls could talk ? There have been recent updates and renovations without disturbing its' historic charm. We host people from all over the world. Guest access Patio with river stunning river and garden views, with birds and wildlife roaming freely along the rive. Enjoy a bonfire on the riverbed. Camp and canoe in one of our outdoor camping experiences, no charge. Other things to note We welcome people from all around the world, students, professionals. Also, this farm attracts individuals or couples wanting to live on an active urban farm and participate in an urban farm community dedicated to building healthy soils that produces amazing food. People live and volunteer at the farm are dedicated to learning more about regenerative farming and living together in community. The four bedrooms are on the second floor, with shared washroom, kitchen and living spaces. Our farm manager lives in the house on the main floor. We share meals and great conversations about life together. We love developing healthy soil and souls. We provide basic internet services for e mails and short video streaming.
