We built a secluded jungle villa to offer a peaceful Amazon retreat. We aim to support the local community through a small family acting as your hosts. There's no cleaning fee; payments for the tourist fee, meals, transportation, and excursions go directly to the village, enhancing your connection with the community during your stay. Nestled on the pristine Aguajale Lake, this lodge offers a unique retreat in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. The villa exudes coziness and features a spacious terrace with a comfortable sofa, a king-size bed complete with a mosquito net, a delightful outdoor shower, and a private bathroom. Inside, there's a functional work desk and a sizable dining table. Perched on a small hill, the lodge provides a picturesque view of the lake through the palm trees. Simultaneously, the house is artfully concealed amidst the palms, offering you a striking palm-lined vista from your own terrace. Guest access You will be the first person to reside in our recently built villa. As we are in the initial phase of hosting, the property is available for booking at a discounted rate. We'd like to invite you to share your experience with us and provide feedback on areas that can be enhanced. Given that you'll be hosted by a local family, you can arrange for meals and small excursions directly with them. Options include night jungle walks, half-day trips to local tribes in the deep jungle, or exploring life in the local riverside community. Payments for these services go directly to supporting the local community. Even though the area is very calm, you are still in the jungle. So take with you: - rain boots (you can buy in Nanay port for 25 soles / 7$) - rain coat (you can buy in Nanay port for 30 soles / 8$) - anti mosquito spray - sun cream - hat - long sleeve cloth, pants, and socks - sandals/slippers The lodge grounds maintain a smoke-free policy and are exclusively for adults, prohibiting pets, loud noises, parties, or BBQs. Any breaches, such as smoking, bringing children, additional guests, or unapproved pets, will result in a $100 penalty per violation and cancellation without a refund.
