Situated 10 mins from the township of Winton, central Southland. We are a sheep and crop farm, good views over the paddocks from the hut deck. All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Nearest town is Winton 10 mins away , with supermarket, choice of places to eat or takeaway. A great spot in central Southland 2 hr Queenstown, 45 min Invercargill, 1hr 10 Te Anau, 35 m Riverton Beach The space This hut has been totally renovated on our family farm to provide accomodation for 2 with all the basics you would need, cosy bed with electric fire to heat the room, kitchen area with fridge, electric hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, milk, sugar, tea and coffee and some cereal provided. Bench top under window to eat your food while enjoying the view. Cosy arm chair to relax and put your feet up. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside deck with additional sitting and table under the veranda, plus a bath to soak in and relax enjoy the stars and the countryside. Guest access You have the total use of the hut and deck. It is a self check in, but any questions we live of the farm and can help. Other things to note We are a working farm so please be careful of driving around the yard to the hut. We have 3 very cute beagle dogs. They can be nosy and wander over to say hello, you’re welcome to touch them. Our chickens are free range so you might see them wandering around.
