'The Paddock' seamlessly blends modern comfort with the enchantment of the Welsh countryside. The space The interior boasts a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a cosy indoor seating area with a spacious corner sofa (with a pull out double guest bed) and a 50-inch TV. There is a solid oak dining table which can be extended if you have guests. The heating operates via an air source system, and allows for individual temperature control in each room. The bedroom offers the very essence of peace and relaxation, with a sumptuous king size bed, mirrored double wardrobe, bedside tables, a dressing table with integrated vanity mirror, and an additional TV. The bathroom has a large enclosed shower, sink with storage, a toilet and heated towel radiators. Step outside onto the large patio area, complete with comfortable seating and dining space as well as a hot tub, and be mesmerized by the breath-taking vistas of the rolling Mid Wales hills. You will also benefit from a convenient sheltered external parking area with an EV charging station. Adjacent to the cottage lies a paddock where our friendly trio of alpacas reside, adding a touch of unique charm to your stay. The indoor seating area offers views of Cae'r Fendith, also known as 'The Field of Blessings,' a site steeped in Welsh folklore. Legend has it that this field was blessed with a miraculous yield of multi-headed corn, symbolizing hope and resilience in the face of adversity. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage, the patio area and enclosed lawn. Vehicles can be parked under the car port or on the driveway. If you require access to the large storage area for bikes or other equipment, this can be made available on request. Other things to note Mid Wales offers an array of outdoor activities, including cycling, hiking, and fishing, making it the ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. 'The Paddock' is only 2 miles from Newtown town centre, where you can explore shopping, dining, and various recreational facilities. Venture further afield to discover the wonders of Powis Castle in Welshpool, the serenity of Lake Vyrnwy, the beauty of Elan Valley, and the stunning Welsh coast. Snowdonia National Park, Chester, Shropshire, and the West Midlands are all within easy reach. Additionally, with Newtown based on the Birmingham to Aberystwyth rail line, your exploration options are limitless.
