The space The Waterfront Panorama Retreat is a spacious four-bedroom private retreat designed for families and groups who enjoy staying together while having plenty of room to relax. Perched on the upper level of Terra, the retreat overlooks The Water Garden and the surrounding hills, with panoramic views enjoyed from the bedrooms, living spaces and outdoor sit-outs. The retreat features four comfortable bedrooms with attached bathrooms, generous living and dining areas where everyone can gather, and multiple spaces to relax, celebrate or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Large windows and open sit-outs create a seamless connection with nature, allowing fresh mountain air and beautiful views to become part of your stay. Beyond your retreat, you'll have access to Terra's shared spaces, including The Glasshouse with indoor and open-air dining, The Water Garden with walking paths and seating areas, the games room with pool, table tennis and carrom, rooftop children's play area, horse riding paddock, BBQ and bonfire spaces, and the surrounding four-acre hilltop property. Terra is also a living farm where guests can meet our horses, cows, goats, chickens and friendly dogs, visit the dairy and stables, and participate in curated Terra Experiences such as horse riding, feeding the animals, collecting fresh eggs, butter and ghee making, seasonal harvesting, guided nature walks, birdwatching, sunrise picnics and much more. Guest access During your stay, you'll enjoy exclusive access to your private four-bedroom Waterfront Panorama Retreat, including all bedrooms, living and dining areas, attached bathrooms, balconies and outdoor sit-outs, along with all in-room amenities. You'll also have access to Terra's shared spaces, including The Glasshouse with indoor and open-air dining, The Water Garden, the games room, rooftop children's play area, horse riding paddock, BBQ and bonfire spaces, and the surrounding four-acre hilltop retreat. Guests are welcome to explore the property at their own pace, walk around The Water Garden, visit the dairy and stables, spend time with our horses, cows, goats, chickens and friendly dogs, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our working farm is open for guests to experience through curated Terra Experiences, though seasonal produce may only be harvested as part of guided activities. Horse riding lessons, scenic trail rides, sunrise picnics, sunset sundowners, guided nature walks, birdwatching, astronomy evenings, cooking sessions, in-room massages and other Terra Experiences can be arranged by our team, with some experiences requiring prior booking and/or additional charges. Our owners, chefs, resort managers, housekeeping and hospitality team are based on the property to ensure a seamless stay while always respecting your privacy. As all meals are freshly prepared by our culinary team, guest access to the kitchen is not available. Please note that Terra is built across multiple hill levels connected by steps and gently sloping pathways. Guests with limited mobility are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can help plan the most comfortable stay. Other things to note Getting Here & Around Terra is nestled in the tranquil hills between Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar, offering a peaceful escape away from the tourist crowds while remaining easily accessible by road. The approach road has recently been improved, and we recommend simply following Google Maps, which may guide you via a scenic route instead of the traditional Wai–Panchgani road. It's usually quicker and makes the journey part of the experience. Regular bus services connect Panchgani with Pune, Mumbai, Goa and many other cities. From Panchgani, we're happy to help arrange local taxis for your journey to Terra and for sightseeing during your stay. For guests who enjoy exploring independently, we also offer a limited number of self-drive scooters, motorcycles and cars for hire, subject to availability. Dining Dining is an integral part of the Terra experience. We serve freshly prepared buffet-style breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Our menus rotate through Maharashtrian, Punjabi, Asian and Continental cuisines, offering a different culinary experience each day. Rather than maintaining an extensive à la carte menu, we prepare meals using fresh ingredients sourced specifically for our confirmed guests. Menus are shared in advance, allowing you to choose your preferred dishes while helping us minimise food waste and ensure maximum freshness. We're happy to accommodate dietary preferences, allergies and special requests wherever possible with prior notice. Our dining philosophy is simple—fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared meals, and unhurried conversations shared around the table. As an indication, our four-meal package is typically around ₹2,000 per person per day. Final menus and pricing may vary depending on seasonal ingredients and your preferences, and will always be shared with you in advance before confirmation. Once meals are confirmed and fresh ingredients have been procured, changes or cancellations may not be possible. BBQ evenings can also be arranged on prior request. As all meals are freshly prepared by our culinary team, guest access to the kitchen is not available. Farm & Animals Terra is a living farm where guests are encouraged to experience the changing rhythms of country life. Depending on the season, you may feed and help care for our horses, cows, goats, chickens and friendly dogs, collect fresh eggs, watch milking demonstrations, participate in butter and ghee making, harvest seasonal produce, or join our grazing cows and goats in the surrounding hills for a simple farm picnic. To protect the farm and ensure everyone's safety, we kindly request that produce is not harvested and animal enclosures are not entered without guidance from our team. Pets We're a thoughtfully pet-inclusive boutique retreat and welcome both dogs and cats by prior arrangement in our dedicated pet-friendly rooms. Our furry guests receive the same warm welcome as every member of the family, with comfortable beds, welcome treats, bowls, fresh linen, wet wipes, a washing station and freshly prepared meals available on request. Mobile networks generally work well, although occasional variations in signal or internet speed may occur due to weather and the surrounding hills. Electric Vehicle Charging A 16A EV charging point is available on request and may incur an additional charge. Weather The weather in the hills changes beautifully with the seasons. Evenings and early mornings are often cool throughout the year, while the monsoon transforms Terra into a lush green landscape. We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket regardless of the season. Peaceful Evenings To preserve the tranquillity of the retreat and respect our neighbours, we request quiet outdoor gatherings after 10:00 pm. Security & Parking Complimentary on-site parking is available for all guests. The property and parking areas are monitored by CCTV surveillance to help provide a safe and secure environment throughout your stay.
