Enjoy relaxing in the outdoor sitting areas such as the patio and fire pit or get out on property and have fun fishing or hiking the Big South Fork National Park, Historic Rugby, and Brimstone Recreation among other attractions in the area. Other things to note Some places of interest close to our 1922 cottage is Big South Fork River access for canoeing, picnics and swimming, three miles away. Another place is the Old English Colonies at Rugby which is only 15 minutes away. They offer tours of the old homes and shops. They have a theater for entertainment and many other events throughout the year. You can also visit R.M Brooks Old County Store at Rugby and offers the greatest bologna sandwich around, says the out of state visitors and our locals. The store is amazing, filled with hundreds of antiques, plus they serve great country food. Other close places of interest to visit is Brimstone Recreation, ATV riding and entertainment minutes away. Brushy Mountain State Pentitentury offers tours, entertainment and music events about an hr away. The 1922 is great beginning to a very memorable vacation.
