Historic Hawthorne Hideout
Historic Hawthorne Hideout
Description
Welcome to our cozy Airbnb — a small, owner-operated duplex where your unit is completely separate with its own private entrance, giving you full privacy throughout your stay. We live in the main level unit, keeping the building peaceful and well cared for. We’re focused on delivering a curated, high-quality experience. To ensure a calm and respectful environment for everyone, we don’t allow parties, loud music, or unannounced/unauthorized guests. The space **The unit has an outside stoop with 7 stairs and then you will access the loft by going up a staircase that has 15 stairs upon immediate entry. ** The living room includes a 50" TV with Netflix, plenty of windows for natural light, and several board games in the TV stand for entertainment. It also has a pull-out couch with a Serta mattress, along with extra blankets, pillows, and sheets in the closet near the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, standard oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and hot water kettle. You'll find glassware for nearly every type of drink and all the essentials for cooking in the cabinets. The dining room features a table with four chairs. The primary bedroom has a queen bed with four pillows, a walk-in closet, and a dresser for storage. There are two nightstands with lamps and USB charging ports, a work/makeup station, blackout shades on the windows, and a ceiling fan. A Pack-N-Play is available in the walk-in closet. The secondary bedroom also includes a queen bed with four pillows, a lamp, an electronic charging station, a walk-in closet, a blackout shade, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom offers cotton towels, washcloths, makeup removal towels, a hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. It also has an auto-sensor fan that activates during showers. Guest access The whole unit is available to you except one closet that we use to maintain the loft. Other things to note The home is located next to a church with bells that go off every hour from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It's also near a busy street, so you may hear some traffic noise. As noted in the description, there are steps leading up to the unit. The house, over 100 years old, features original hardwood floors that can be a bit squeaky—but that's part of its charm. We live on the main level and do not allow loud music or parties.
