The space This hand crafted log home was built by our great-grandfather and has been cherished by our family for generations. There is something here for everyone. Outside adventure awaits. Spend your days exploring the river and islands. Check out nearby Heart's Content, Cook Forest, Kinzua Dam, Drake Well, or Lake Erie. Close to hiking, biking, snowmobile, cross country skiing and ATV trails. Enjoy nearby golfing, hunting, fishing and horseback riding. Indoors, the cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen, ready to prepare your 4th of July picnic or your Thanksgiving dinner. Share family time with a selection of board games, puzzles, art and crafting materials. Curl up with a great book and a glass of wine. We offer warm and welcoming rooms to make you feel at home. Our comfortable beds are waiting for you to snuggle right in. Guest access All kitchen equipment, large and small appliances, pots, pans, bake ware, dishes, glass ware and silverware are available for use. A microwave, Keurig coffee maker, dishwasher, washer and dryer are provided for your convenience. There is a flat screen TV with basic cable and DVD player for your movies. WiFi if you wish to stay connected to the world. The cabin is stocked with great pillows, soft sheets and fluffy towels. Outside, kayaks, canoes, inner tubes, life jackets of various sizes and paddles are included at no extra charge. An additional release form must be signed for each guest prior to using water equipment. Note- water equipment is available when the river is at a safe summer level and temperature. This is generally Memorial Day through Labor Day. A riverfront fire ring and selection of hot dog forks and pie irons will make your bonfire memorable. Other things to note The cabin is located in a quiet river valley with several neighboring cottages sharing our lane. During holiday weekends you may find more people in the valley and on the river than usual. Please enjoy the cabin responsibly. Polite and friendly pets are welcome on a case by case basis with pre-approval and must be kept under your control.
